Kanye Postpones Australian Tour

Rapper Kanye West has delayed his upcoming Australian tour so he can concentrate on finishing up his next record.

It seems like Australian tours are all facing problems after The Rolling Stones postponed their tour also.

Kanye was scheduled to kick off the seven-date Australian music adventure on May 2nd, but it was now cancelled and postponed for September.

He will use this delay to wrap up his next studio album.

Here’s what the statement from tour promoter Live Nation says, “Due to unexpected timing requirements to finish his highly anticipated new studio album, scheduled for a 2014 release, Kanye West regretfully announces the postponement of his upcoming tour dates in Australia.”

His new starting date is set to September 5th.

This is not the greatest time for the rapper and his gigs, given that his Yeezus tour has been delayed many times and some gigs even have been cancelled.

He managed to disappoint his fans in Germany too, where his German tour was delayed in March.

Due to his equipment damages, his numerous shows in North America were delayed or cancelled in October 2013.

But the move has led many to speculate on social media sites that the postponement could be more due to the fact he needed that time to help prepare for his wedding day, rumored to be May 24, in Paris.

It was said to be ‘the event of the year.’
