Lilly has never been one to shy away from media attention and has always done and said things in the media that have turned a lot of heads. It is yet to be see whether all of this talk in the media is going to help her sell albums.

While Allen still has a large following in the UK, her popularity has definitely taken a bit of a dive globally, especially in the US.

She  aims at female singers such as Katy Perry, Rihanna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Lorde, in her new song Sheezus.

The star mocks the singers and says she will steal the pop crown only to become a “Sheezus”.
She particularly aims at the new singer Lorde.

She suggests the teenager will “slay” anyone who comes her way to stardom. She also calls Lady Gaga a “martyr” of pop music.

Her chorus says, “Ri-Ri (Rihanna) isn’t scared of Katy Perry’s roaring, Queen B’s (Beyonce) going back to the drawing, Lorde smells blood, yeah, she’s about to slay you, kid ain’t one to f**k with when she’s only on her debut.”

“We’re all watching Gaga, L-O-L-O, haha, dying for the art, so really she’s a martyr, the second best will never cut it for the divas, Give me that crown, b**ch, I wanna be Sheezus.”

Sheezus is the title track from her upcoming album. It is due for release on May 5.
Her song Hard Out There was also mocking celebrities and the word “bitch” in 2013.

Both the video and the song’s lyrics take aim at misogyny and sexism which have become very popular in modern pop culture.

She takes a satirical aim at Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines video, in which a woman dances in front of the words ‘Robin Thicke has a big dick’, by dancing in front of inflatables spelling out ‘Lily Allen has a baggy pussy’.
