Rock and roll royalty, Prince, has announced that he will be playing a concert in Baltimore on Sunday. The concert will honor Freddie Gray, the 25-year-old man who died of spinal injuries while in police custody.

Gray’s death sparked weeks of protests and rioting in downtown Baltimore. Prince will be performing with his backing band 3RDEYEGIRL. The concert will be dubbed Rally 4 Peace and it will be symbolically held on Mother’s Day. It will take place at Royal Farms Arena.

According to a press release for the concert, promoters are encouraging people to wear gray clothes, in honor of Gray.

Gray died last month after spending a week in the hospital after his April 12 arrest. Charges are being pressed against all six Baltimore police officers who were involved in his arrest.

In classic Prince mode, the rock star did not say much about the event, and as always, will let his music do the talking on Sunday.
