Best known as the frontman of the popular Las Vegas rock band The Killers, Brandon Flowers is currently working with Haim and Vampire Weekend producer Ariel Rechtshaid on his second solo album.

His first solo album ‘Flamingo’ was released in 2010 and was both a commercial and critical success.

Flowers tells NME that the second record is not finished yet, revealing that it is less influenced by Las Vegas than ‘Flamingo’ was.

The record’s not done yet, but I’m excited about it… I’m liking it.  People are going to interpret it how they will, but there’s only a little bit of Vegas in there.

Although he will continue recording solo albums, The Killers fans can relax since Flowers doesn’t plan to end things with the band.

I wanna keep being in this band. I don’t think we’ll get too morbid about it, I think we wanna keep going.
